Aims & Scope

Alma Mater – Journal of Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies (JICS) aims to provide an international academic platform for high-quality interdisciplinary research in the social sciences, humanities, and cultural studies. The journal promotes scholarly exchange across disciplinary, linguistic, and cultural boundaries and encourages original research that brings together diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives. Its aim is to advance academic knowledge and strengthen international and interdisciplinary scholarly dialogue.

The journal publishes original research articles and reviews in English, French, German, and Turkish. Its scope encompasses Philology, Geography, History, Art History, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Archaeology, Cultural Studies, and Holocaust Studies. JICS welcomes theoretical, methodological, qualitative, and quantitative research as well as interdisciplinary studies that contribute new perspectives to these fields.
